TheLadders.com Names Douglas Zarkin VP and General Manager, TheLadders.com Resume Service

TheLadders.com, the worldís leading $100,000 jobs website, announced today that Douglas Zarkin has joined the company as Vice President and General Manager, TheLadders.com Resume Service. In this role, Zarkin will oversee all aspects of the companyís rapidly growing resume business.

Prior to TheLadders.com, Zarkin was a Marketing and Brand Development Consultant with the Gerson Lehrman Group. Before joining Gerson Lehrman, Zarkin was Vice President of Marketing at Limited Brands, Inc., where he oversaw the Victoriaís Secret Pink brand. While there, Zarkin led the evolution of the brand into a national cross category business, as well as the creation of its community website vspink.com. Prior to Limited, Zarkin was Director of Consumer Marketing and Creative Services for the marketing business at Avon Products, Inc. While there, Zarkin led the award winning national rollout of the business and was recognized by Brandweek as a ìMarketer of The Next Generation.î His career in marketing began on the agency side, with various leadership posts at Grey Global Group, Saatchi & Saatchi and Lintas.



At TheLadders.com, Zarkin will help build TheLadders.com Resume Service business, a new offering which provides professional resume critiques, editing services and advice to executive-level job seekers. Launched in January 2006, TheLadders.comís Resume Service has proven to be an asset to job seekers. In a recent survey, TheLadders.com found that 77% of executives who used the companyís resume editing service said they were contacted by recruiters immediately following their professional resume re-writes.

Zarkin earned his Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from The American University, where he received The Kogod College of Business Administration Academic Fellowship and Merit Award and completed his undergraduate work at The George Washington University, where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration. Zarkin lives with his family in New York City.
