Executive Jobs Website, TheLadders.co.uk, to revolutionise the UK executive recruitment market with the most comprehensive listing of 50,000 UK Jobs

TheLadders.com, America's leading online service for $100,000 jobs, today launches its UK counterpart, TheLadders.co.uk. The first in a series of planned brand extensions throughout Continental Europe, TheLadders.co.uk will provide high-level job seekers with the most comprehensive listing of 50,000 job opportunities available. For corporate recruiters, the site will serve as the premier source of pre-screened, top tier talent.

The UK site launches in beta phase this week with a full scale launch to clients and job-seekers planned later this year with more products and advanced functionality. The UK business will be headed by Sarah Drew, a seasoned internet professional and former Match.com UK Senior Manager & Marketing Director.

Since its launch in 2003, TheLadders.com has dominated the U.S. executive job market, rapidly becoming the leading online service for $100,000 jobs. In November 2006, TheLadders.com officially became the largest specialty employment website in the United States, according to comScore Media Metrix. It currently boasts a membership of 1.43 million subscribers and continues to win accolades, most recently being named among the Best Job Boards on the Internet in the 2007 Weddleís Userís Choice Awards. TheLadders.com membership has grown at a rate of over 100% year-over-year since inception.

Sarah Drew, who will be Director, Marketing and General Manager at TheLadders.co,uk says: ìThe growth of TheLadders.com has been phenomenal and itís an inspiration to the UK team of what can be achieved in the UK and Europe. Itís our job to harness the companyís enthusiasm for Europe to build a business that is completely tailored towards the needs of UK executives and recruiters.î

She continues: ìIím intent on building a successful online business that fills the gap that currently exists in the online executive recruitment market. I am already being approached by major corporations, headhunters and consultancies alike with a view to TheLadders.co.uk helping them find senior level talent in the UK.î

Alexandre Douzet, TheLadders.com co-founder and Executive Vice President, Europe says the European market hasnít seen anything like TheLadders.com to date. He comments: ìTheLadders.com was always meant to serve a global audience. Our success in the United States has given us the tools we need to replicate this success in the European market. There are 6.3 million executives who are looking for a service like ours in Europe and we are looking forward to providing them the same great resources and job opportunities that we provide for their American counterparts.î

Like the U.S. version of TheLadders.com, TheLadders.co.uk reaches targeted verticals within the 50,000 job market, including Sales, Marketing, Technology, Finance, Human Resources, Law Consulting, GM and Operations. Unlike its US counterpart, which charges a monthly subscription fee to job seekers, TheLadders.co.uk will charge no user fees at inception to neither job seekers or recruiters. To ensure that only qualified executives enter the job applicant pool, an in-house team of experts will screen every CV prior to granting member status to job seekers.
