TheLadders.com, the worldís online service for $100,000 jobs, today announced further details of its innovative signature event, SeekWeek 2006, being held Monday, January 9, through Friday, January 13. A rare opportunity for senior level job seekers to hear how top recruiters and experts view the marketplace, SeekWeek 2006 is a rich source of practical information about online recruiting, best practices, research and perspectives.

Designed to provide executives with valuable knowledge and information to help them manage their job search more effectively, SeekWeek 2006 was developed in response to the quarterly executive employment outlook survey recently conducted by TheLadders.com. Survey data garnered from this study indicates that a significant majority of the workforce believes they are unlikely to achieve their professional goals at their current place of employment. From November 10-14, 2005, TheLadders.com surveyed a total of 1,322 professionals and found that 64% of respondents felt it was not very or not at all likely that they would reach their career goals at their current company. However, an average of 66% of workforce professionals expressed extreme confidence that they could fulfill their career objectives with another employer.

Practical job search-related information will be offered each day during SeekWeek 2006 through one-hour Webinars beginning each day at noon EST. SeekWeek 2006 kicks off on Monday, January 9, with the ìRecruiters Speak!î Webinar session. Top recruiters from top firms will take part in a panel discussion, addressing the ups-and-downs of recruiting for $100k talent. Featuring Sarah George, senior vice president of Recruiting and Business Strategy at Wachovia, Emily Lerner, human resources manager at Zagat Survey, and Kent Burns, partner, MRINETWORK, this Webinar will explore the ins-and-outs of recruiting today from three distinct vantage points.

Tuesdayís Webinar session, ìManaging Your Many Faces,î will offer details on personal branding and how job seekers should present themselves. This session will also focus on the ways job seekers can best utilize the tools available today, including resumes, blogs and more.
