The first ever seminar programme at the National Incentive Show is in hot demand, with leading industry figures already confirming their place within the varied programme.
John Sylvester is a main board director of P&MM with 20 years experience in the motivation agency business. John will present a seminar titled íNuts & Bolts of Motivationí which will offer a practical framework on which motivation campaigns can be based.
Chris Bestley is the Education Consultant for the Institute of Sales Promotion, responsible for the development and delivery of all the ISPís education products. Chris will be presenting a seminar on the íNuts and Bolts of Sales Promotion.í
Jeremy Stern is a leading member of the SP industry with a career that includes BT,Tesco & Coca Cola. Jeremy will present íPromotional Compliance - Made Easyí and discuss how to get the details of a promotion right, how to stay compliant and possible changes to the sales promotion environment from new legislation.
David Lebond is a board director of both the ISP and the BPMA, and as the day job he is a main board director of the P&MM Group plc. David will discuss íMake your budget go further with piece of mind - use fixed feeí. His presentation will cover; What is fixed fee, the benefits - Illustrations showing the financial case, how does it differ from Insurance, why is it a cradle to grave approach and what are some of the hidden benefits of using fixed fee.
David will also present a seminar alongside fellow colleague Richard Davies, who heads up the P&MM Voluntary benefit division - Lifestyles. The seminar is titled íMake me Happy` - An introduction to staff benefit schemes, and will cover items such as why benefit schemes are becoming so popular, the pit falls - what to watch for and the business benefits.
BI will be presenting two seminars. The first, íHow to Effectively Measure Motivation Programmes,í will be run by Mike Davies, Director of Performance Improvement for BI and Marina Banusic, Client Service Director for BI. This session will discuss how to install robust sales and non-sales performance indicators as well as how to calculate return on investment. The other seminar, íTurning Brand Saboteurs into Advocates,í will be presented by Richard Bandell, Managing Director of BI. This session will discuss how to develop strategies to convert brand saboteurs into advocates.
Toby Farrance, Account Director for Grass Roots, will present a session called íMaking Values Work,í which will show how it is possible to translate values into practical actions so that they become genuine guiding principles rather than pious hopes.
Michelle M. Smith, Vice President of Business Development, O.C. Tanner, will host two seminars. The first is titled íRetaining Talent with Recognition.í In this session, Michelle will review the factors uncovered by research that are contributing to this employee disenchantment and the specific steps organisations can take to reverse and correct this trend. In the second seminar, íProving ROI in Employee Programmes,í Michelle will present research that is rapidly becoming the best practices for incentive and recognition programmes in the United States
The full seminar timetable will be revealed shortly, but is already proving to be a programme full of insightful speakers and topics. It will be one of the key elements of the must-attend Autumn event, The National Incentive Show, in September at the Birmingham NEC.
