StepStone, the European provider of e-recruitment software and services, today announced the acquisition of Recruiter Norge AS, a market-leading vendor of recruitment software and services in the Norwegian market.
Together, StepStone and Recruiter Norge AS will have more than 300 customers in Norway and will be the largest recruitment and talent management software and services operation in the Norwegian market. This will reinforce StepStoneís position as the market leader in the Norwegian market in both the public and the private sectors.
The combined market strengths of StepStone and Recruiter Norge AS in Norway, where both companies are market leaders, will provide customers with access to a unique range of total talent management software products, services and know-how from a single company,î StepStone Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Colin Tenwick, said.
CEO of Recruiter Norge AS, Rune Eidskrem, will continue to ensure the success of Recruiterís current customer portfolio and handle public sector sales.

The initial consideration is Ä1.2m in cash with a further Ä0.8m payable in 2009 if the business meets certain performance targets during 2008. Recruiter Norge AS is expected to generate Ä0.7m of revenue in 2007 and be profitable.
