SharedHR has released the latest version of its powerful, easy-to-use software to reflect the many changes in state and federal rules and regulations that took effect Jan. 1, 2006.
SharedHR Release 7.6 features dozens of updated documents, forms and procedures, said Paul Finkle, President and CEO of sharedHR. ìWith the start of 2006, weíre providing clients many critical state-specific and federal compliance updates that impact employee policies in our sharedHR handbook, hiring, leaves, training and other sections.î
SharedHR updated more than 40 documents in the sharedHR library section alone, said Finkle. Also, many compliance changes were made to the sharedHR handbook section, that clients can implement with a few clicks. The sharedHR handbook wizard allows clients to craft custom-tailored, multi-state handbooks for their employees.
ìThere have been several new laws introduced for 2006 that should be reflected in company policy,î said Finkle. ìWe have updated the sharedHR hiring, performance management and Employee Handbook platform in 7.6 to incorporate these recommended policy language changes.î
ìAs is our practice, all changes are reviewed by legal counsel so clients can rest assured that their employment risk is significantly reduced,î added Finkle. ìWe encourage all our clients to update their current HR systems and handbooks as soon as possible to ensure compliance with changes.î
SharedHR will conduct a Webinar on updating the sharedHR handbook on Wednesday, Feb. 1 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Pacific Standard Time. The Webinar is intended for sharedHR clients only, and will serve as the first in a series on various topics.
