Search Consultancy launches new look website

As one of the most dynamic and profitable markets in the UK today, the face of the recruitment industry has to constantly evolve to keep up with new technologies.

To offer potential candidates the quickest route to a new job, Search Consultancy, the UKís fastest growing total recruitment solutions company, have recently adapted their website to make it faster, easier to navigate and much more user friendly.

Carole Swan, Marketing Manager at Search, explains: ìWe know that job seekers want the most direct medium possible for sourcing current vacancies out there. Thatís why we have adopted the look and feel of a ëjobs boardí on our new look website.

ìThe site is much simpler to navigate from a candidateís point of view and youíre never more than a couple of clicks away from the page youíre after.

ìRegistered users can now search for their perfect position through keyword searches so that the most relevant jobs are returned first rather than having to trawl through the most recently added jobs. And, as an added plus, there is no need to access the site every day to check up for new vacancies. As soon as an opportunity arises that matches their chosen keywords, skills and requirements, the site will email them directly as and when the job is added to the site. Once theyíve submitted their application online, they will then deal directly with the consultant handling that particular vacancy.

ìThere are over 2,500 jobs on the site with more being added every day, so weíre confident the new website will be a great job-hunting tool.î

As well as access to the new jobs board facility, the website still offers the same services that candidates have come to expect from Search.

Carole Swan adds: ìThrough the website, job seekers can still access contact details for either a face-to-face or telephone chat with our consultants to discuss their career options. We also offer tips on compiling that all important CV and interview techniques but the number of jobs we have on the site is the real draw. Itís important to strike the balance between using technology to allow easy access to information while still retaining the essential human touch.î

Graham Caswell, chief executive of Search, anticipates a lot of new and renewed candidate interest in the website.

ìThe previous website we had was equally candidate and client focussed,î he explains. ìNow we have made a conscious move towards a more user-friendly site and we hope that the developments will make it more attractive and easier to navigate for job seekers.î
