Graduate Prospects has launched an online viral game, Hop to the Top as part of its social media strategy to engage with students and graduates.
As well as raising brand awareness and capturing data, the game has been developed to drive traffic to the new Student Life pages on prospects.ac.uk and create conversations on Twitter and Facebook. An online promotional campaign will support the launch.
Hop to the Top involves players jumping on the ladder icons to get promoted and score points. A free prize draw to win an iPod is open to users who register their score.
Andy Stevens, product manager at Graduate Prospects explains: “Easy and user friendly game play make Hop to the Top addictive. We’re hoping it will really take off as people share the game and their scores through Twitter and Facebook.”
Graduate Prospects is further investing in its Student Life pages over the forthcoming months with the launch of an online searchable database of Student Union events coming soon.
