Pitmans has launched an Employer Protection Scheme

Pitmans, the Thames Valley's largest commercial law firm, has launched an Employer Protection Scheme. The scheme is designed to provide a budgeted risk management package that guarantees compliance, expert advice on day to day employment issues from experienced lawyers who understand their client's businesses, as well as an indemnity for any legal fees, awards or settlements that arise from a dispute.

Jacqueline McDermott, Employment Partner, said: It has been clearly demonstrated over the past few years that many companies are ill equipped to handle many of their employment issues. They battle to keep up with changing legislation and are experiencing a greater number of disputes with employees who appear to have legislation on their side and a much better awareness of their rights.
