Specialist ICT staffing company Penta Consulting has announced strong financial results for the twelve months to 5 April 2006. The companyís turnover grew from 30.8m to 45.6m - an increase of 48%. Profitability, which has been the key focus during this period, has increased by 88%.
Commenting on the results, Mark Sidlin, Financial Director said, We have ended our eighth trading year with record results based entirely on organic growth. This time last year we restructured our business to encourage growth and innovation and this strategy, along with our determination to retain our market edge in a fiercely competitive market, has paid dividends.
2006 has already proved a landmark year for Penta. In April they became the first technical staffing company ever to be granted a Queenís Award for Enterprise which is without question the UKís top award for business performance and an honour conferred only on a very small number of companies each year. Penta also won the award for the Most Successful Company in the south of England and they are delighted to have been included in the Sunday Times listing of the Best 100 Small Companies to work for in the UK.
Pentaís business philosophy is based on their absolute commitment to listening to customers and responding with intelligent, mould-breaking solutions. Penta confirms that strong trading position is continuing. Our first quarter shows our highest levels of business to date. We have 650 contractors on assignment in 73 countries and revenues from our permanent business have doubled on the same period last year. With very significant pipeline business coming through we are confident that we will continue to outperform our competitors and the market for the rest of this year, Sidlin added.
