Penna plc, UK leaders in human capital management, announces the launch of Recruitment Communications, a new Agency offering a full range of Recruitment Advertising and Employee Communications services through online and offline media. A highly experienced team joins to build a recruitment advertising and communications capability, which complements Pennaís other offerings of Resourcing, Executive Interim, HR Consulting, Leadership Services and Career Transition. The majority of the key people in the new Penna agency have previously worked together in Bartlett Scott Edgar (BSEL), an award-winning agency which was acquired by TMP Worldwide in 2001. The agency will initially comprise 12 people, growing to 22 by August 2005, making this a significant new recruitment communications venture. In April 2005, following a reorganisation TMP merged BSEL into its existing UK operations. Following this move four of the seven members of the BSEL Executive team announced their intention to join Penna.
Anne Riley, who joins in October 2005, will head Pennaís Recruitment Communications service. She will be part of Pennaís Executive Management Team. Until her appointment Brian Cernuschi, Commercial Director, and Heather Staff, Media & Research Director head up the team. Mike Burgneay, Client Service Director, and Account Directors Raphael Mulcaire and Belinda Collins will join in July 2005.
The team has a strong pedigree in conducting award winning advertising campaigns for its clients across all sectors, with a particularly strong track record in the public sector. The new team can now leverage Pennaís blue-chip client experience, which includes 60% of the FTSE 100 companies.
Brian Cernuschi, Commercial Director of Recruitment Communications, comments: ìWe are very excited by the opportunity that joining Penna presents. Having built a business and a culture of which we are proud, we are determined to work together to continue to provide clients with high levels of service and innovation.
