Omni ëreinventsí Executive Search and looks to the over 50s

Risk Sharing and market knowledge to underpin new Executive Search business

Omni Resource Management Solutions is launching a new Executive Search and Interim division, which will draw on the skills of high achievers from industry to create a network of 116 franchised partners.

As well as offering a fresh new approach to senior executive recruitment, with a new pricing model that reduces the risk to clients and the potential for partners to earn six figure salaries, this development will underpin Omniís goal to become the UKís leading recruitment specialist.

ìOur research shows that clients are dissatisfied with existing practices and have difficulty recruiting at a senior level,î says Omni managing director Robert Leggett. ìIn-depth market knowledge it the key to success, which is why we are looking for senior industry specialists who we can train in recruitment best practice, but who have first hand experience of what their clients are looking for.î

Because of the depth of experience required for this new venture Omni expects many of the best candidates to be over 50, opening new doors to mature executives at an age when many are closing.

ìThis is a franchise opportunity that will turn seasoned industry experts into some of the UKís most successful headhunters,î says Leggett.

Omniís new division will be one of the few to operate across the entire business spectrum, which it has divided into 116 sectors.

ìWe are reinventing executive search to get rid of the mystique that has traditionally shrouded senior level recruitment and offer complete transparency to clients throughout the recruitment process,î continues Leggett. ìWe know that clients are looking for more ërisk sharingí from search companies, and have responded by introducing a pricing model which means clients will not be asked to pay big fees up-front.î

Omni Executive Search and Interim is based on a unique model for the executive search sector. Partners will bring the critical market knowledge into the mix, Omni provides skills, experience, systems, methodology, ongoing training and support in executive recruitment and the Franchise Group, with 25 years franchise experience, provides the business start-up expertise.

Omni already has a major marketing campaign up and running to attract partners. Each partner will be allocated an industry sector and be part of the Omni network. Omni will also be offer interim management solutions via the partners.

ìOur key criteria are that partners must be high achievers and have in-depth knowledge of their sector, which is why we believe the over 50s are likely to fit the bill,î says Leggett.

ìThis group suffers terrible age discrimination ñ only 20 per cent of the over 50s are in employment - yet it has the greatest experience of life and work. We believe we can capitalise on this, by offering them the advantages of self-employment via a franchise. Franchising has high success rates, with 88 per cent of franchisees operating profitable businesses in the UK and two thirds of them coming from salaried employment before taking the plunge.î
