New age of actionable labour market intelligence

Today marks the launch of Talent Cube – an innovative research consultancy with its mission to provide deep insights into the UK’s labour market

Today marks the launch of Talent Cube – an innovative research consultancy with its mission to provide deep insights into the UK’s labour market.

The UK-based company will focus on providing data driven research for those operating in human capital markets.  The company has been launched by founder of Innovantage – the UK’s leading source of hiring demand data – Matthew Dewstowe, who has long known the value of hiring demand data insights.

“Talent Cube’s journey – although not known at the time – started in 2007 when I established Innovantage and began collating the UK’s hiring demand data.  With over 100 million job postings as its core asset, Innovantage provides the most extensive real-time insight into UK labour market trends.”  The launch of Talent Cube will see a different application of this data by blending it with other sources of talent market data to deliver even more actionable insights around human capital.  Core markets include in-house recruitment teams, RPOs, government, enterprise recruitment consultancies, and those involved in workforce planning.

“Talent Cube remains closely aligned with both Innovantage and Eysys, leveraging the core dataset and technology stack in order to deliver more holistic consultancy to those customers not looking for SaaS product,” added Dewstowe, “What Talent Cube provides is the opportunity to work with other data partners which opens up whole new worlds of talent market insights for our customers.”

Marking its diversification into other markets, and to celebrate its launch, Talent Cube released its first whitepaper today. The paper, entitled “Realising the power of Hiring Demand data”, provides an insightful overview of the internal and external value proposition of using hiring demand data. It details the value of using large datasets to improve business planning, performance improvement and raising a brand’s credibility and reach in the marketplace. “Hiring demand data – singularly and on aggregate with other data sources – has become as much about supporting decision making around organisational construct and driving productivity, as it has about supporting the process of securing new business” says Dewstowe.  Talent Cube’s whitepaper, produced in partnership with Innovantage, considers this and explores the ways in which this data can allow businesses to remove the need for “gut-instinct” and anecdotal evidence, instead replacing it with hard facts and insights which elevate the brand and individual using it.
