Today sees the launch of a completely new advertising campaign from s1jobs, Scotlandís recruitment site. Set to run throughout 2005 and across Scotland on TV, press, outdoor, radio and online, the campaign focuses on the positive aspects of finding a new job whilst reinforcing the unrivalled range and depth of Scottish jobs to be found at s1jobs.
íOur previous íIn the wrong jobí campaign ran for 4 years and was right for when we first launched. With over 30 creative awards amassed, thereís no doubt it did an excellent job in helping achieve our current No. 1 market position in Scotland, commented Ewan Colville, Head of Marketing at s1.
íHowever, rather than continuing to dwell on the negative aspects of being unfulfilled in the íwrongí job, our new campaign puts a positive emphasis on the feeling of happiness and success that come with a new job. At the heart of all our communication is the incontestable fact that s1jobs features more Scottish jobs than anywhere elseí.
And despite not advertising on TV in January 05, s1jobs still kicked off the New Year with record traffic figures. Explained Colville; íThereís now a tremendous amount of goodwill in the s1jobs brand through a combination of great user experiences and targeted, relevant marketing. And so levels of word of mouth referral are significant - our own research tells us 20% of new s1jobs users are referred by their peers.í
According to NORAS 2004, s1jobs attracts 106% more job seekers in Scotland than any other site. And for the second year running, s1jobs was named íUKís best regional job siteí in the 2004 National Online Rrecruitment Awards.
