In a competitive environment where candidates will consider career options at an early stage, long-term success in the legal sector will depend on the calibre of initial work opportunities and placements.
Followed by significant career intervals, where candidates will look to realise their optimum employment and financial potential ñ only a dedicated service offering a full complement of opportunities will guarantee the career objectives expected by candidates. Recognising this need, Hudson Cooper Limited has diversified its brand to include a specialist legal recruitment division.
Rachel Green and newly appointed Christine Baungaard, who joins Hudson Cooper from a London Agency, will be responsible for the development of Hudson Cooper ~ Legal People, which is committed to supporting employers and candidates alike.
Rachel is a qualified solicitor with extensive recruitment experience. She has held several senior posts with national recruiters and was responsible for establishing a recruitment division dedicated to in-house legal placements. This wealth of knowledge allows her to deliver highly technical, yet practical advice to best fit each individual work environment. Rachel has placed candidates in lucrative in-house roles, while Christine has regularly dealt with the recruitment needs of the ëmagic circleí firms such as; Allen & Overy, Linklaters, Field Fisher Waterhouse. Christine has had to consistently deliver a proactive service, sourcing exceptional levels of candidates for distinctive roles.
Lee Cooper, Managing Director of Hudson Cooper comments: ìBoth Rachel and Christine have held senior roles in this sector and can provide candidates and employers with knowledge of the national market through a local service. I have no doubt that their combined talents will assist candidates and employers to attain their recruitment ambitions, so that both parties achieve their strategic goals.î
Hudson Cooper ~ Legal People is a dedicated service and will focus on the entire recruitment needs of this sector. The division will be able to source fee-earning staff from senior partner level through to newly qualified, with business/administrative support and secretarial staff also being a focus. Through excellent existing links, Hudson Cooper ~ Legal People is able to access and place candidates from a national pool, removing any geographical restrictions for both employers and candidates, whilst maximising prospects for both.
With the added benefit of the complementary divisions; Hudson Cooper ~ Financial People and Hudson Cooper ~ Effective People, staff with cross-sector disciplines will also be accessible for placement, increasing available work for candidates, whilst providing a greater depth of choice for employers.
Christine comments: ìRachel and I are very excited by the new venture. We have made valuable relationships with employers and have already begun to place candidates both in the local and national market.î
The new division is part of the Hudson Cooper Group, which has already evolved with the umbrella brand of Hudson Cooper ~ Professional People being formed earlier this year.
The Hudson Cooper Group provides services to an impressive and broad client base throughout the central south coast. To find out more about Hudson Cooper ~ Legal People contact Rachel Green/Christine Baundgaard on 01202 298844 / 02380302050. Alternatively visit www.hudsoncooper.com
