Kenexa, a global provider of talent management and retention solutions, today announced that, for the second year in a row, the company has received the Corporate Star Award from the Forum of Executive Women (FOEW). The Award recognizes companies in the greater Philadelphia region whose corporate boards are composed of at least 25 percent women.

Karsan accepted the award on behalf of the company at the Forumís Annual Leadership Breakfast, which was held on October 7 at the Crystal Tea Room in the Wanamaker Building in Philadelphia. The keynote speaker of the event was Anne L. Stevens, President, CEO and Chairman of Carpenter Technology, based in Reading, Penn.
The more than 300 members of the Forum of Executive Women hold top positions in every major segment of the community – from finance to manufacturing, government to healthcare, and not-for-profits to communications. The Forum fulfills its mission – to advance women leaders in the greater Philadelphia region – by supporting women in leadership roles, promoting parity in the corporate world, mentoring young women and providing a forum for the exchange of views, contacts and information.
Kenexaís eight-member Board of Directors includes Dr. Renee B. Booth, President of Leadership Solutions, Inc., and Rebecca Maddox, President, CEO, and a founding principal of Maddox Smye LLC.
