Job Zone Network announced today the addition of JO Johnson to its Board of Directors and Troy Prehar as Vice President of its newly formed Consulting Services Division. Job Zone Network, a suite of niche career centers, recently launched Military Job Zone (www.militaryjobzone.com). Military Job Zone is run by former military members with years of experience in the military recruitment and placement industry, and is an online career center that links transitioning military members with employers.
JO Johnson has more than six years of leadership in the professional staffing industry as well as extensive leadership and management experience in other areas. JO is currently Vice President of Operations for Kforce Inc. (NASDAQ:KFRC), a 2006 BusinessWeek Hot Growth 100 company, where he leads strategic initiatives, MandA integration, program/project management, process improvement, quality programs, internal controls certification, knowledge management, facilities and logistics. Prior to joining Kforce, JO worked for Cintas Corporation, a $4 billion Forbes Platinum company, where he was a Production Supervisor and Plant Manager.
JO also has extensive military experience including enlisted service as an infantryman and reconnaissance marine and commissioned naval service as a Surface Warfare Officer, Naval Intelligence Officer and Foreign Area Officer. JO completed his commissioned naval service as a Lieutenant Commander. JOís educational background includes a Bachelor of Science from the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD and a Master of Arts from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA.
Troy Prehar brings 10 years of highly successful Sales and Marketing Leadership experience to our newly formed Consulting Group. After serving as an Armor Officer in the Army, Troy started his sales career in the Medical Device field in New York City working for Genzyme. While there, Troy distinguished himself as a Sales Professional earning numerous sales awards and eventually serving in International Marketing and Sales Management roles. Upon leaving Genzyme, Troy used his talents to help 2 other companies launch their newly FDA approved products. Troyís most recent position was Director of Sales with Confluent Surgical Inc., which was recently acquired by Tyco Healthcare.
In Troyís career he has hired, trained and managed numerous transitioning military professionals. His JMO training programs have resulted in many of those who worked with him going on to lead their own organizations and teams. His leadership of the Consulting Group will allow Job Zone Network to offer a true ëTotal Recruitment Solutioní and customized ëLeadership Development Programsí for our partners. Troy is a graduate of the United States Military Academy-West Point where he was a Letterman and Coach with Army Football.
