London, UK 18 August: Online CV provider iProfile (www.iprofile.org) today announced that IT Jobs Online (www.itjobs-online.co.uk), a leading specialist IT job board now allows applicants to use their iProfile instead of a traditional CV. This means that over 3 million iProfile holders can now short-cut IT Jobs Onlineís application process by simply using their iProfile to apply for jobs.

This follows on from the recent adoption of iProfile by Graduate Prospects (www.prospects.ac.uk), the largest graduate careers website in the UK, and proves how useful the iProfile is to both job boards and job seekers.

Research undertaken with jobseekers by iProfile showed that one of their biggest frustrations is the re-keying of information each time they register with an agency or apply for a job on a job board. iProfile takes the hassle out of this application process, as once built it can be re-used to short-cut the application process with both iProfile compatible agencies and job boards.

Alex Charles, co-founder at iProfile, commented: ìJob boards are now recognising that jobseekers do not want to fill in a long application form and attach their old fashioned word CV but instead prefer using their iProfile and tracking their application progress. IT Jobs Online are leading the way and our aim for the iProfile to become the universally accepted online CV is rapidly becoming a reality.î

Simon Millais, Commercial Manager at IT Jobs Online, added: ìWe take great pride in building a website with our users experience in mind and iProfile is another effective tool we can provide to help improve their experience of applying for jobs through us. I believe it is a core responsibility of any good job board to find ways to create an easier application process for their candidates.î
