Is communication the skill of the future?

How about time management, IT skills, adaptability or even the skill of being able to breathe underwater?

How about time management, IT skills, adaptability or even the skill of being able to breathe underwater? These are just some of the suggestions to the question of what the most important skill of 2020 will be by entrants to the BIG LEARN competition.

The online competition is being run by the Campaign for Learning in conjunction with Reed Learning to get the public thinking about their current skills levels and their future skills needs. Entries are accepted until 5pm on Wednesday 30 April to win one of three life changing learning experiences from Reed Learning worth a total of 6,000.

The BIG LEARN is asking the public to look forward to 2020 as the year when the government wants us all be skilled enough to ensure global competitiveness for the UK. Three lucky entrants will be drawn at random on Learning at Work Day, 22 May, a national awareness day co-ordinated by the Campaign to highlight the importance of workplace learning for individuals and organisations.
