Laurdan Associates Co-Hosts Education Series, Offering Detailed Analysis of the New ìDefinition of an Applicantî to 300 iRecruiter Users

iCIMS, a provider of Web-based Hiring Management Solutions, today announced the conclusion of its two-day Customer Webinar series, focusing on the impact of the OFCCPís new definition of an Internet applicant and how federal contractors using iRecruiter can prepare for the new regulations. The Webinar series was co-hosted by Ron Adler, president of Laurdan Associates, a human resources management consulting firm headquartered in Potomac, Md. Mr. Adler is considered an EEO expert with more than 30 years of HR consulting experience working with U.S. and international firms. In addition, Mr. Adler is a co-developer the Employment-Labor Law Auditô (ELLA), the nationís leading HR auditing and employment practices risk assessment tool.

More than 300 iRecruiter users, representing over 100 corporations, participated in the two-day event, which included presentations by both Mr. Adler and iCIMSí Account Management experts. The event gave iCIMSí customers an opportunity to learn more about the OFCCPís regulation changes, and also provided them with specific action items to facilitate compliance before the regulations go into effect. The event also featured a Q&A session that allowed clients to discuss real-life challenges resulting from the new regulations with direct response and demonstration from iCIMS as to how those are addressed within the current version of the iRecruiter Applicant Tracking Solution. In addition, iCIMS and Mr. Adler educated clients about the details surrounding the new compliance regulations, as well as ways in which organizations can implement best-practice recruitment policies to protect their recruitment interests into the future. This event was just the latest Webinar series offered through iCIMSí Customer Education initiative. This program is designed to bring iRecruiter users together with industry experts to discuss new trends in recruiting and changes that may impact and/or improve the way they go about their daily activities.

iCIMS powers the recruitment initiatives of more than 300 organizations worldwide, creating one of the most diverse and complete sources of recruiting knowledge of any Talent Management Solution provider. The knowledge base that has been developed through years of service to these organizations has established iCIMS as an expert in the area of recruitment and hiring management best practices. iRecruiter, iCIMSí core Applicant Tracking Solution offering, automates and streamlines the entire recruitment process while giving recruiters the tools they need to remain in compliance with the regulations set forth by the OFCCP. Additionally, the solution is backed by outstanding support. iCIMSí dedicated service teams have helped the company maintain a 97 percent customer retention rate since 2003.

ìIt is a priority at iCIMS to continuously provide valuable Best Practice advice to our clients to help them achieve their unique recruitment goals by leveraging the knowledge we have collected over the years,î said Brett Swick, iCIMSí director of Client Services. ìWorking with more than 300 global clients has given our support teams a wealth of insight into the HR world that we then pass onto our customers on a daily basis.î Swick continued, ìBecause the updated OFCCP regulation is going into effect on February 6, 2006, we found this EEO Webinar series an essential step in educating our clients about the ways in which the new definition will affect their recruitment processes, as well as the ways in which iRecruiter already supports the tools necessary to help them maintain compliance.î

Ron Adler, president of Laurdan Associates and co-host of the Webinar series, felt the sessions helped iCIMSí clients become more comfortable with the ways in which the regulation will affect their daily recruitment practices. ìAddressing common concerns helped recruiting teams get a better grasp on the impact the new ruling will have on the techniques used to find and evaluate talent,î Adler said.

Swick shared Adlerís perspective on the Webinar series. ìThe best-practices presented by Mr. Adler and iCIMSí own Account Management representatives allowed recruiters to feel more at ease about the changes taking place in the world of recruitment,î he said. ìWe are excited that this timely Webinar series resonated so well with those that participated, and we look forward to continuing to offer these services to our customers, further enhancing their experience with iCIMS and their ability be effective at their jobs.î
