The Human Capital Institute (HCI), a global professional association and educator in talent management strategies, announced today that its President and Executive Director Allan Schweyer has completed a successful visit to Poland, participating in two talent management conferences in Warsaw in July.
On July 25, at a conference sponsored by leading educational advisory firm House of Skills, Schweyer provided a keynote presentation and conducted a workshop on Integrated Talent Management. Schweyerís seminar explained the role of talent management technology, discussing investigation and selection, as well as implementation and change management.
Then, on July 27, Schweyer joined the TMI international congress for the morning plenary session, where he spoke on talent management. TMI is an international training and HR consultancy company with offices in more than 30 countries.
Both sessions were well received, with attendees clearly demonstrating an interest in best practice talent management strategies.
Schweyerís participation in these events marked HCIís introduction to a nation that seeks to address its critical talent shortages which are exacerbated by an aging population and an outflow of educated youth.
ìGiven the challenging demographic that Poland and much of Eastern Europe faces, the importance of talent management is paramount. HCI looks forward to providing ongoing educational opportunities and other human capital management support to business leaders in Poland and throughout Eastern Europe,î said Schweyer.
