In response to continued growth, including over 1m of new business won at the end of 2005, RAA Sprague Gibbons has expanded its client services and web teams.
Rowan Price, 25, joins RAAís client services team as an account executive. Rowan brings with her excellent client handling and organisational skills, along with prior experience of the world of recruitment advertising gained at Euro RSCG Riley in Bristol.
RAAís web team, JobPositiveô, also has some new faces. Faye Wedge joins in the key role of senior account executive, to work closely with our existing e-business manager in planning and managing website projects and in providing ongoing client liaison and support. Faye gained her excellent client skills through her prior experience working for the Financial Times and Getty Images. Helen Orchard joins as web builder, responsible for the development of microsites, recruitment websites using the JobPositiveô system and other web-related projects. In addition, Susannah Wilkinson joins as web administrator, supporting the team by helping with the day-to-day management of clients’ websites.
Peter Gibbons, managing director of RAA Sprague Gibbons, points out that growth in the agencyís advertising business is being more than matched by continued, strong demand for its web services. ìMore and more clients want to incorporate online recruitment, managed via websites of their own, into their recruitment strategies, and achieve the considerable time and cost savings on offer,î he says. ìFrom campaign microsites to full-blown corporate recruitment websites, increasing numbers of clients are getting their web strategies on track.î
He adds: ìWe have also taken the step of bringing our client services and web teams even closer together, in reflection of the integral part that web now plays in most clientsí recruitment activity. So Faye, Susannah and Helen will be working extremely closely with Rowan and the rest of the client services team.î
RAA Sprague Gibbons is one of the UKís leading independent recruitment advertising and communications agencies. Employing over 25 people, RAA specializes in helping private sector clients across the UK improve the effectiveness of their recruitment communications, reducing costs in the long term through strategic planning and the intelligent use of online recruitment.
RAA was the first agency to publicly declare that it would no longer be taking part in large scale pitch and tender processes, which it believes detracts resources from existing valuable clients.
