The next three months will see students from over 100 UK universities decide which employers across 20 sectors of work have the employability X factor. Over a 100,000 votes are expected to be cast in a huge survey designed and developed by trendence, Europeís leading employer brand research firm.
Being part of the largest of its kind in the world, trendence believes that this poll will provide the most accurate reflection of studentsí and graduatesí views on employers in the UK. The trendence survey invites students to score organisations on their attractiveness as an employer.
The results will be announced at the Aviva-sponsored TARGETjobs National Graduate Recruitment Awards at Londonís Grosvenor Hotel on March 18, 2010.
TARGETjobs director, Simon Rogers said: ìEmployers will no doubt be awaiting the results of the annual trendence undergraduate survey with even more interest than usual. It will be very telling which organisations have managed to stay on top and communicate positive employer branding during what has been a difficult year in business.î
Paul Awcock, Head of Recruitment UK at Aviva said: ìThese are undoubtedly difficult economic times but most leading companies should, in my view, continue to invest in their commitment to support graduate recruitment. An organisation that fails to effectively communicate its employer brand across the UK graduate population may suffer in the post-recession environment. Aviva recognises that talented people are the lifeblood of companies which is why we are delighted to be sponsoring the TARGETjobs National Graduate Recruitment Awards and why our 2010 graduate programme opens again in the autumn.î
