IT training and recruitment company, FDM, today announces the addition of Global Services Technical Consultants to its resource pool. This means that Global Services clients can now source senior consultants, in addition to contractors, from FDM to meet their business needs. To qualify, consultants will be required to complete the companyís award winning Academy programme and acquire a minimum of two years commercial experience as an FDM ìMountieî contractor.
The Global Services Technical Consultants will be supported by FDM to lead projects for clients ñ designing, deploying and managing IT and business development. They will hold industry-recognised qualifications in their chosen field of expertise, such as Prince2, IAQ and ITIL, enabling FDM to provide a broad spectrum of specialist solutions.
By sourcing Global Services Technical Consultants through FDM, businesses can achieve significant cost savings, as well as minimise the risks associated with staff retention and knowledge management in the fast moving IT staff market.
FDMís application process for the sought after new role is rigorous, ensuring that clients are guaranteed knowledgeable and committed senior staff. Monthly selection meetings will be run by FDM, where candidates will be questioned by a selection panel of experienced Sales, Human Resources and Global Services executives. Those who successfully complete the application process will receive a salary of at least 41,500.
Rod Flavell, CEO of FDM says: ìOur clients work in extremely competitive sectors, including financial services and digital media, and IT innovation underpins their success in the aggressive market. While demand for our developer and tester contractors remains strong, businesses are also asking for more senior IT professionals to provide them with expert consultancy, guidance and project management.î
Alistair Rutherford, Global Services Consultant Manager, says: ìFDMís experience of working closely with clients across different sectors has given us a thorough understanding each industryís distinct needs. This means we can develop consultants with precise skill sets and business insight to match our clientsí specific requirements. FDMís Global Services Consultants will not only understand their individual marketplaces, but will advise businesses how they can best use technology to gain a competitive edge.î
