eQuest today announced that it has completed the first in a series of applications that will utilize its mammoth job board performance Big Data warehouse for use in eQuest’s wide range of services and products.
The first of several to be released features, called Post-Scheduler™, can deduce and pinpoint the delivery of a job – to a job board and/or social media site(s) – at nearly the exact moment the site experiences the highest number of candidates performing searches for similar jobs in similar locations. Trends in candidate traffic patterns and habits are collected each millisecond which allows eQuest to isolate specific job and candidate trending – delivering the job so it will appear at the top of the search-result page at the best performing time.
In a recent published report, eQuest revealed a huge variance in candidate response rates depending on several characteristics – the type of job, the type of career site, and the location of the job.
Prior to posting a job, the Post-Scheduler™ will indicate via a calendar which date is best to post the job – uniquely for each job board. The Post-Scheduler™ takes into account when the highest candidate traffic is received for similar job titles, job functions, skills and location – at each job board. The recruiter can elect to post the job immediately or select the date when best to post the job.
“The Post-Scheduler™ imparts on-the-fly data analysis to optimize and deliver the job when specific candidate viewing and response trends are most effective,” said Mike Dutter, VP of Global Sales for eQuest. “It’s clearly a marriage of two best-of-breed technologies into a very powerful tool for recruitment.”
The Post-Scheduler is part of eQuest’s new 3.0 platform being released in early 2013.
