Employment Enjoyment Expands Offering With Support From Oriel

Local recruitment agency Employment Enjoyment is adding a specialist temporary recruitment division to its range of services, thanks to help from Cheltenham-based Oriel Support.

Employment Enjoyment has four existing divisions, which focus on recruitment for a variety of sectors including marketing, sales, IT and technical and financial. The additional offering gives Employment Enjoyment the flexibility to place candidates in temporary roles across the board and will be headed-up by experienced temp controller Cat Marshall.

In order to ease the increased administrative overheads and financial complexities associated with temporary recruitment, owners David and Claire Townsend turned to Oriel Support. Oriel specialises in outsourced financial services for the recruitment sector, including payroll, credit control and accounting.

David explained: ìAdding temporary recruitment to our portfolio is a significant step that will enable us to grow our business by providing a wider range of solutions. At the same time it creates new challenges in the way we run the business day-to-day. For instance, we have to pay temporary staff on a weekly basis, while clients can be invoiced on a weekly or monthly basis. However, with Oriel handling our payroll, weíre free to focus on what we see as our USP in the market. We rely almost exclusively on repeat business from satisfied customers. This luxury allows us to provide total commitment to candidate and client satisfaction, rather than wasting time on endless business development.î

David and Claire launched Employment Enjoyment in 2002. The company has since gained REC accreditation and now employs five members of staff.
