eleventeenth, the Internet development agency, announced the launch of the next generation of its technology application designed specifically for recruitment agencies, extPonent 3.0 (formerly known as extWare Recruitment Solution). This follows extensive redevelopment of the application, originally created for Aardvark Swift (www.aswift.com), which won the Recruitment and Employment Confederationís (REC) Award for Best UK Recruitment Website.
Retaining the original feel and effective approach to data management, extPonent 3.0 is designed around the business process and placement cycle of recruitment agencies. It features an advanced extranet application seamlessly linking a recruitment agencyís website with a back office database, to efficiently manage candidate, client and vacancy data. Built on open source technologies (Java/Linux), the system can be accessed anywhere securely via the web, without the need for a lengthy installation process on a network. Provided on an ASP basis (Application Service Provider), the system is maintained, and the data secured and backed up, at eleventeenthís offices.
ìThe technology application that eleventeenth developed for our recruitment agency has dramatically decreased our lead time for placing candidates with our clients by up to 35-50%, equating to a real time reduction of around a month,î commented Leon Welsh, Managing Director of Natural Selection (http://naturalselection.uk.com). ìAs a result, our consultants can now focus on being recruitment consultants, rather than data administrators; placing the right candidates with the right clients quickly and effectively.î
The new features provide added flexibility and increased productivity:
- Speed match candidates ñ The new application enables searches to be initialised from multiple points in the database, which means that searching is faster and that the data can be interrogated in more ways
- Comprehensive diary functions ñ The new diary function can be personalised by individual consultant, as well as the overall company. It also allows consultants to book interviews for themselves in the office and to show which candidates have interviews with clients
- Personalised consultantís home pages ñ Consultants home pages now include ëTo Doí lists and personal ëRemindersí. Home pages can be configured to present information as required by each consultant, so they can decide how they want to see their priorities at a glance
- Designated place for company attachments ñ Allows attachments, such as CRB forms, qualifications and references, to be associated to multiple clients, vacancies and candidates in the database
- Tailored searches ñ Tailored searches enable new search criteria to be easily added, agencies can now configure any search, so that data can be filtered more effectively to their individual needs
In todayís hostile economic climate, ensuring that your recruitment agency is efficient is paramount,î commented Phil Atkinson, Director of Business Development at eleventeenth. ìThis new and improved version of our recruitment application, extPonent 3.0, is the perfect catalyst for agencies looking to take control of their data strategy, enabling them to become more efficient and increase their bottom line revenue. As it can be rapidly deployed and tailored to the specific needs of any agency, it is the perfect tool for ensuring competitiveness.î
