Technology-based economic development organization to centralize and distribute online educational offerings to statewide external audiences using GeoExpress platform

Technology-based economic development organization to centralize and distribute online educational offerings to statewide external audiences using GeoExpress platform.

GeoLearning, Inc., the leading provider of on-demand learning and performance management technology platforms, announced today that The Center for eBusiness and Advanced IT (eBizITPA), a statewide Ben Franklin Technology Development Authority Initiative designed to help Pennsylvania enterprises understand and use information technology and e-business tools, will deploy the GeoExpress Learning Management System (LMS) to deliver and manage learning as part of an extended enterprise training initiative.

Specifically, GeoLearning's GeoExpress LMS will allow eBizITPA to streamline its online course development and distribution process. eBizITPA will have the capability to more easily create and share training from industry experts via the Internet. The implementation of the system will allow easier and more efficient access to online training opportunities.

This system will undoubtedly improve not only our efficiency in providing online training opportunities to the public, but also the usability and consumer satisfaction, said Carrie Teetzel, Director of Education Programs at eBizITPA. We hope that GeoLearning will allow us to provide the content that professionals want in the fastest and most accessible manner.

eBizITPA plans for the system to be fully implemented by June 2009. Once implemented, GeoExpess will house all of the Center's online education materials including Webinars, podcasts, tutorials and online, self-paced courses.

GeoLearning's award-winning Software as a Service (SaaS) model means the GeoExpress platform is delivered entirely over the Internet, eliminating all the headaches, hassles and risks associated with traditional hardware and software implementations. The Internet-hosted learning management platform enables organizations to capture, create, manage and share knowledge to improve workforce productivity, accelerate critical business processes, and drive organizational performance. The system centralizes and automates the entire learning management process, making the administration of enterprise learning and development both effective and efficient.
