DMGT Expands Online Job Division with the Acquisition of JobsGroup.net

JobsGroup.net joins fast growing portfolio of recruitment sites led by Jobsite

Associated Northcliffe Digital (AND), a division of DMGT, today announces the acquisition of JobsGroup.netô Limited which operates a portfolio of successful niche job boards including JustEngineers.net, JustConstruction.net and JustRail.net. JobsGroup.net will form part of ANDís recruitment division under the guidance of Jobsite (www.Jobsite.co.uk) which leads ANDís fast growing portfolio of recruitment sites. JobsGroup.net brings a strategically important set of complementary niche sites into the wider recruitment group.

JobsGroup.net is the UKís leading niche online recruitment network operating 10 award winning websites. Launched in 2000, JobsGroup.net has over 380,000 unique users and 200,000 registered jobseekers across its niche sites, publishing over 8,000 vacancies every week.

JobsGroup.net becomes the seventh company to join ANDís growing portfolio of recruitment sites and is a continuation of the strategy led by Jobsite to extend audience reach, group capabilities and footprint across both generalist and niche markets.



Under the agreement, JobsGroup.net will retain its brand name and continue to be led by the current management team, with all existing employees remaining at the company. JobsGroup.net will also continue to operate from its current headquarters in Lancashire with plans to move to larger, purpose built offices in Heysham later this year to accommodate continued growth plans.

Through the acquisition, JobsGroup.net will have access to the experience, expertise and resources of Jobsite in the online recruitment sector, from sales and marketing to infrastructure and technology.

Prior to the purchase of JobsGroup.net, Jobsite and AND have previously acquired six niche sites including CityJobs.com, Top-Consultant.com, OfficeRecruit.com, InRetail.co.uk , ProductionBase.co.uk and Conkers.net. In addition Jobsite has launched fifteen niche sites, ranging from accountancy to sales.
