Daycare Trust is holding a series of regional seminars on employer-supported childcare this September and October, to meet local need and update employers on changes to the tax and national insurance incentives available. Aimed at those who employ or advise parents, manage or provide childcare, the expert-led sessions will be invaluable in understanding the new opportunities introduced by the Government.
Employers who support the childcare needs of their staff can save 300 per year per employee, while working parents themselves can save up to 1,066, when family friendly policies are introduced. More and more employers are implementing these schemes, which engender employee loyalty and boost the productivity and reputation of a business.
Delegates will be able to find out about implementing salary sacrifice schemes, childcare vouchers, running a workplace nursery and much more.
The seminars are expected to be attended by accountants, childcare service provides, childminding network managers, Childrenís Information Services, economic advice and regeneration units, employee benefits consultants, finance managers and directors, HR professionals, payroll specialists and trade unions.
There are five full-day sessions in Manchester (20th September), Bristol (23rd September), Birmingham (27th September), London (29th September) and York (4th October).
If you would like to know more and to book a place at one of the seminars, go online to the Daycare Trust website (www.daycaretrust.org.uk) or call 020 7840 3350.
Expert advice will be available from HM Revenue & Customs, Daycare Trust staff and representatives of Accor Services Childcare Vouchers.
