Berkley Scott strengthens regional management structure

Berkeley Scott Group has now strengthened its regional management structure with three new appointments

As the only truly national recruitment company specialising in Hospitality and Leisure, recruitment and resourcing company the Berkeley Scott Group, has now strengthened its regional management structure with three new appointments.

New appointees are all internal promotions
Bouyed by record levels of trading across the business and particularly strong trading in the regions, three of Berkeley Scottís existing branch managers have now been promoted into regional management roles. Taking on responsibility for temporary recruitment in the North of England is Rachel Líarmour, who previously headed up Berkeley Scottís Birmingham branch. Permanent recruitment in the South of England is now the responsibility of Alex Matthews, currently Branch Manager in Cardiff. The third promotion is that of Lee Barratt, at present Branch Manager of the London Hammersmith office, who is now promoted to Regional Manager ñ London Sales.

Head of Berkeley Scottís UK wide network of 15 offices, National Operations Manager David Henshaw, comments: ìAt Berkeley Scott we are fortunate to benefit from a large number of dedicated staff who have been with the company for some years ñ a trait not normally associated with the recruitment industry. We benefit as a company from developing home-grown talent and are always keen to encourage all our staff to progress their careers within the organisation. We are delighted to announce these internal promotions and are looking forward to the exciting opportunities for development which lie ahead.î

Berkeley Scott is confidant of the prospect of long term growth across Hospitality generally and has embarked on significant expansion plans. Further investment is planned during 2005 in terms of increasing consultant numbers across the UK, together with additional office openings. The increased levels of business will be supported by this new level of regional management now in place.
