AMEC Selects Recruitmax to Optimise Recruitment Efficiency

British-based Engineering and Construction Giant Chooses Recruitmax to Enhance Hiring Processes Across Europe and North America

Recruitmax, a global provider in technology and services for building great workforces, announced today it has added AMEC to its growing list of European-based clients. The international project management and services company will use Recruitmaxís award-winning Corporate Edition product for acquiring top talent and improving recruitment efficiency.

Recruitmax has helped some of the worldís largest companies find, screen and hire better employees faster. With data centres in Europe and North America, Recruitmax will support AMECís global hiring processes for all types of workers including university graduates, contract, temporary and permanent employees. AMEC also plans to integrate the Recruitmax Corporate Edition with their Oracle HRIS application for seamless, bi-directional data-transfer.

As a major international employer, AMEC is an ideal candidate for web-based recruitment tools. Such tools are important because of our need to manage effectively a global talent pool and staff up major projects across the UK, mainland Europe, North America, and many other international locations, often within a very short timescale, said Ron Lee, group human resources director AMEC Plc. One of the many values of such a system will be the huge saving in time and resource, as well as increased efficiency, in enabling us to quickly identify and source the talent we need. It gives us an efficient method of making AMEC accessible to potential employees and maintaining a regular dialogue with people who are genuinely interested in working with us, as well as being able to share that information internally. This significantly increases career opportunities for those people while also maximising the pool of talent available to our recruiting teams.

We are pleased to add a client of AMECís stature to our growing list of European clients, said Darren Jaffrey, general manager EMEA for Recruitmax. We both share the belief that Recruitmax technology can make a difference in AMECís ability to bring high quality employees on board. Great companies distinguish themselves through the quality of their workforces and Recruitmax helps them build and retain the best.

AMEC helps clients plan, design, fund and manage projects in more than 700 locations. The companyís 44,000 employees are spread over 40 countries. AMEC selected Recruitmax over a number of other major providers of human resources technology based on their robust functionality, ease-of-use and global support capabilities.

This announcement underscores Recruitmaxís rising presence in Europe. In 2004, the company opened an European headquarters in London and has since expanded its staff to meet growing business opportunities. Earlier this year, the London office moved into a larger space. Over the past 18 months, Recruitmax has added more than a dozen clients in Europe and the Middle East and experienced triple-digit revenue growth.
