One of the fastest growing independent recruitment firms, Gap Personnel, has acquired Yorkshireís Castle Recruitment for an undisclosed sum.
The deal worth an estimated 2 million in annual revenue is the second of several acquisitions planned this year for Gap Personnel and the first Yorkshire branch for the national recruitment specialist (a second Yorkshire office is due to open in six months). It marks a significant addition for the company whose aim is to provide customers with industry leading expertise and to turnover 100 million by the end of 2012.
Castle Recruitment was established in 1998 in Castleford by John and Georgina Batty and specialises in recruiting for the Industrial and Commercial sectors throughout South and East Yorkshire (including Wakefield, Pontefract, Barnsley and Garforth). The team will now extend its offer to include Gap Personnelís expert recruitment service in the additional Driving, Care, Technical and Legal sectors.
Jayne Batty, daughter of the owners and Director of Castle Recruitment for over nine years, will continue to manage the office and the Castle Recruitment team will now lead Gap Personnelís flagship branch operation in Yorkshire.
