One of the first Oracle Accelerate HR/Payroll deployments in the UK completed in record time

Application Lynx is pleased to announce that in partnership with Maxima, it has completed one of the first successful UK implementations of the Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 on a Microsoft Windows platform using Oracle Accelerate. Driven by the Oracle Accelerate solution programme, Application Lynx deployed Oracle Human Resources Management System in just 50 days for a major Financial Sector Client.

Application Lynxís Oracle Accelerate solution has been implemented for an insurance organisation. The Client uses the Microsoft compatible Oracle Applications to provide the HRMS/Payroll backbone for its new 2,000 strong CRM/Sales division. This division services various insurance/re-insurance companies within the organisation.
The project comprised one of the first and fastest deployments of an Oracle Accelerate solution in the UK. Application Lynx and Maxima went from project kick-off to go-live for the HRMS solution in just 50 days ñ a significantly shorter timescale in comparison to traditional software implementations. The new streamlined user interface provides an extremely user-friendly interface which has helped drive rapid end-user adoption.

The project ran in two phases; the first to implement the technology solution and migrate the first tranche of employees to the new division. The second phase entailed migration of staff from other companies within the group. Together, Application Lynx and Maxima managed various aspects of the project involving Project Scoping, Workshops (for requirement gathering), Data Migration, Analysis/Design/Build, plus Configuration and build of the interfaces.
