Freedom Finance Enriches HR with Snowdrop

Freedom Finance Plc has bought HR software from Snowdrop, an HR and payroll provider, to improve its management and reporting capability in respect of vital staff information.

Freedom Finance will be implementing a number of Snowdrop modules including: Spring (recruitment); Evergreen (personnel records management); Fountain (training administration) and U-Access (self-service for line managers). Nine members of the HR team will have the ability to access the Windows system, and 30 members of management will be able to to view and record information via U-Access.

The HR team will use Snowdrop to replace its existing spreadsheet systems and increase the value of data held on its 330 employees. One of the key benefits to Freedom Finance of using Snowdrop's modules will be the ability to quickly and easily report on absence - currently HR has to rely on time-consuming manual processes to capture this data.

Longer term, Freedom Finance hopes to integrate Snowdrop's HR software with its bureau Payroll solution, Orchardbureau, to prevent duplication of effort and ensure data integrity across the board.
