New release of First Advantage HMS talent acquisition and applicant tracking software

Personalising and simplifying information improves ease of use and streamlines recruiting

The new release of First Advantage Hiring Management System (HMS) talent acquisition and applicant tracking software adds powerful personalisation options designed to improve recruitersí ability to display candidate information at a glance. It integrates all recruitment-related services on a single platform, handling both hourly-paid and salaried personnel and featuring extensive global capabilities.

New features include ëHMS Todayí which enables primary users to personalise and simplify the open requisition records displayed on their ëStartí page. Users can now customise sort options, hide application statuses and interview/offer records or identify ëhotí requisitions. These enhancements enable users quickly and easily to monitor the status of all requisitions at a glance, using the criteria important to them.

ëPersonalized Grid Pagesí enable users to develop individual pages to track candidates by name, assessment scores and any other criteria captured. Recruitment personnel search applicant files and can display and format the results on the fly, easing their ability to prioritise important information for each search.

The new version of HMS also includes a number of general enhancements. These combine to improve operability and usability in managing candidates, cross-posting jobs, background checking integration, interview scheduling and other administrative capabilities.

ìThe number-one challenge companies face relative to employees is finding the right talent when needed,î according to Kevin Martin, research director, human capital management at the Aberdeen Group. ìTo address this challenge, a top strategic action companies are pursuing or considering is to assess candidates for skills, attitudes or motivation early in the hiring process. And, according to our research, integration with other systems is a key factor that employers considerî.

ìThe enhancements deliver savings in the recruitment managerís most precious commodity: time,î said Russell Crisp, executive director, First Advantage HMS. ìThe new version enables them to display the information they need at a glance and format it in the way that works best for them, so that they can find the best candidate for the job quickly and easily.î

First Advantage HMS utilises .net technology, which allows the system to tailor the recruitment process to each specific users needs, including the use of complementary service offerings, seamless HRMS integration and advanced workflow support.
