Freejobsite.com approach shatters the traditional online recruitment model

Freejobsite.com, the new free recruitment community, has arrived in the UK with a completely new approach to online recruitment.

Freejobsite.com, the new free recruitment community, has arrived in the UK with a completely new approach to online recruitment. Recruiters have traditionally paid to post vacancies to job sites. However, Freejobsite.com completely changes the current business model by offering a premium service for free to all employers.

Freejobsite.comís business model generates revenue from advertising placed on the site - rather than job posting charges - enabling the site to be offered free to recruiters and job seekers alike. This new approach to the online recruitment market challenges the traditional model that was worth 103 million for the first half of 2006 in the UK, and instead leverages the countryís online adspend of over 2 billion last year.

The site has been developed to allow recruiters to post jobs quickly and easily across a variety of sectors, ranging from design to finance.

Andrew Diamond, CEO, Freejobsite.com, said: ìThe online job market has been dominated by several major players for the past few years, but our approach really flies in the face of what they have based their revenues on. Weíre trying to revolutionise the model so that everyone is benefiting. The cost of online recruitment in the UK is too high, so weíre changing that for the better.î

Freejobsite.com is also breaking the existing mould of online recruitment by offering users the chance to own a share of the company. The site will give the top 5,000 jobseekers referring the highest number of people who register their CVs to the site a share of up to 30 per cent of the company.
