Reed Consulting, leaders in HR outsourcing and consultancy services, today announced the successful delivery of recruitment support for the second phase expansion of the Screwfix retail network.
Screwfix Direct Limited, part of the Kingfisher group of companies, is the leading multi-channel supplier to the Trade market, providing access to over 14,000 products. Established as a mail-order business over thirty years ago, Screwfix has more recently developed successful online and Trade Counter channels, and now employs over 2500 across the UK. After a successful pilot of seven branches in 2005, 2006 saw the implementation of a roll-out plan to deliver a further 30 branches. Continued expansion is planned throughout 2007-8.
