Fast-growing independent Omni Resource Management Solutions has won a two-year renewal on a 12-month contract with Allied Irish Bank (GB)to provide all its permanent recruitment needs, from entrant level up to middle management, including graduate recruitment.
Omni will manage all recruitment agencies for Allied Irish Bank (GB), both on a Preferred Supplier Agreement and ad hoc.
Allied Irish Bank (GB) Human Resources Manager Riona Scannell said: ìOmni have become an essential and invaluable part of our recruitment team. Their knowledge and expertise have helped us make vast improvements to our recruitment processes, and weíve also been able to redistribute internal resources to core activities as a result of Omniís support.î
Omniís Managing Director Robert Leggett says: ìWeíre delighted that a highly successful initial campaign has led to this two-year contract renewal with Allied Irish Bank (GB). Our aim is always to become a valued addition to clientsí recruitment teams, and our work with AIB is a great example of this.î
Having initially rolled out a very successful graduate recruitment campaign for the bank, Omni were asked to review recruitment processes elsewhere in the business. After a rationalisation of preferred suppliers, Omni also developed and managed a new careers microsite, as well as looking at ways to most effectively generate and screen candidates for vacancies. As a result, some 70% of the bankís candidates are now hired directly, with reduced management time on recruitment and much greater efficiency in the recruitment process.
The two-year contract renewal came only months after Omniís initial contract with the client in February 2006.
