Vurv Hosts Annual User Conference at Disneyís Grand Floridian Resort; Announces Vurv Strategy, u-Learning, and Additional Customer-Exclusive Initiatives

New Customer Collaboration, Educational and Strategic Advisory Service Programs Help Customers Become More Knowledgeable and Successful

Vurv Technology (formerly known as Recruitmax), a global provider of technology and services for building great workforces, today announced the launch of new strategic advisory and educational initiatives, Vurv Strategy and u-Learning, as well as a series of new customer collaboration programs at its annual user conference.

Hundreds of attendees from North America, Europe, Asia and Australia journeyed to Orlando for the largest event in the companyís history. Event highlights included keynote presentations from Guy Kawasaki, Reneí Carayol and Arte Nathan, and three days of breakout sessions across four separate tracks covering everything from talent acquisition to performance and compensation management. The conference started with an inspirational welcome from Vurvís founder and CEO, Derek Mercer. Mercer, known by all in the industry as a charismatic and energetic executive, shared his insights into Vurvís success. Mercerís presentation set the stage for a user event that mirrors Vurvís own mantra: itís all about the people.

Conference announcements included details of Vurv Strategy, u-Learning and other customer-centric initiatives. Vurv Strategy is an advisory consulting division of Vurv that offers strategic consulting services, business intelligence projects and the formal publication of client research programs to help new and existing customers analyze and improve processes, calculate business value and optimize their solutions. Built from the collective experience of Vurvís more than 300 industry-leading enterprise customers around the globe, the driving motivation behind Vurv Strategy is the desire to help customers become more knowledgeable and engaged and better aligned with overall business objectives.

By tapping the expertise and knowledgebase of Vurv Strategy, customers can maximize the potential of their Vurv applications, document and track the return on their investment and improve user adoption and success. Additionally, the Vurv Strategy group will engage in best practice research projects, provide internal and external briefings, produce white papers and articles to share findings, and host the Vurv Customer Executive Roundtable.

Leading Vurv Strategy will be Bertrand Dussert, who has consulting experience with over 100 large organizations and is actively involved in numerous HR thought leadership initiatives. ìHaving worked with our customers for over three years now, Iím delighted to lead Vurv Strategy and look forward to working even closer with our customers as we launch this new practice,î stated Dussert.

u-Learning, a new offering from Vurv University, is a new self-service training and certification program offered to customers, partners and employees. The program provides preliminary and continuous learning opportunities for the various types of users and administrators of the entire Vurv Enterprise product suite. By accelerating and improving the transfer of product knowledge and skills, u-Learning helps promote improved user adoption, quicker time-to-value, reduced support time and associated costs, improved business value and a greater return on investment.

Other new customer-exclusive programs include the Vurv Lunch ën Learn Series, Vurv HR Hero Awards, Vurv Customer Executive Roundtable and Vurv Groups. The Vurv Lunch ní Learn Series will offer monthly customer-exclusive web casts featuring leading product and industry experts who will deliver topical content, answer user questions and provide insight into the latest changes affecting HR, talent management, and Vurv products and services. The quarterly Vurv HR Hero Awards are designed to recognize those who have made a positive difference with the people in their organization through the use of Vurv Technology products, services and/or principals of talent management. The Vurv Customer Executive Roundtable will provide HR and business executives access to top-notch industry and corporate leaders who will share ideas, stories, challenges and best practices in talent and strategic workforce management.

Vurv Groups will allow customers the ability to tap into the power of dynamic, customer-led online communities and regional user groups to drive collaboration between coworkers, business colleagues, Vurv customers, and subject matter experts. Vurv Groups will facilitate online and off-line communities in the sharing of templates, best practices, advice and much more across project teams and discussion groups in a user-friendly, collaborative environment.
