Jobster Expands into UK

Innovative online recruiting company partners with Euro RSCG Engage

Jobster today announced that it is expanding its global footprint into the UK to deliver more effective tools for organisations to target, engage and hire the right candidates. A number of recruitment specialists form the early adopters that will be using a range of innovative tools such as Jobster to reach beyond typical sourcing techniques to find great people.

Euro RSCG Engage - the communications consultancy launched last week to address the disconnect between long term branding strategies and the human resources function - will be Jobsterís sales and marketing partner in the UK.

Jason Goldberg, CEO comments, ìJobsterís viral referral networking technology knows no boundaries or borders, and as such is being used regularly around the globe. We have seen particularly strong demand for our services in the UK where employers are increasingly targeting people who are not actively looking for a new job.î

The Jobster web-based service enables employers to target, engage and hire the most qualified candidates through employee referrals, e-mail marketing campaigns and contextual website and blog targeting. Using Jobster, leading organisations improve the performance of strategic sourcing initiatives such as referral programs, diversity hiring and university recruiting.

Martin Cerullo, co-founder of Euro RSCG Engage comments, ìItís nothing new to talk about the power shift from employer to employee, yet many companies are still missing a trick by not fully understanding and exploiting the behavioural patterns of the labour market.

ìIn a world where weíre all bombarded daily with marketing messages through every kind of medium, itís no longer feasible to recruit in isolation. With this strategic partnership Jobster will make it easier for employers to plug into this way of thinking and ultimately hire faster, cheaper and more intelligently.î

Leading recruitment process outsourcing specialist Alexander Mann Solutions is currently trialling the product for a number of its UK-based clients. ìWe are always interested in exploring the use of new and innovative sourcing techniques for the benefit of our clients,î commented Director of Service Management Vic Khan. ìLeading organisations are increasingly recognising the need to target the passive candidate population, which can provide access the best talent in the market, not just on the market. Jobster has the potential to be one of a range of innovative tools that are enabling Alexander Mann Solutions to support our clients in this area.î

Goldberg went on to say, Jobster has high hopes for the UK market ñ the site of our first European office ñ and we are already seeing strong demand for our innovative solutions from the UK’s leading employment brands.î

In the US, more than 250 employers use Jobster to recruit the best talent, including more than 10 percent of Fortune 100 companies. From Afghanistan to Zambia, there are nearly 100 countries from around the globe represented on Jobster.
