Whats new at Softworld HR and Payroll?

Running from 12 ñ 13 October 2005 at NEC, Birmingham, Softworld HR & Payroll will feature more than 60 leading HR and payroll software providers, offering professionals an unrivalled opportunity to embrace the latest software solutions, and to discuss industry issues in a community focused event.

This yearís exhibition features market-leading organisations such as Agresso, Carval Computing, Ceridian, Frontier, Intellect HR & Payroll Solutions, KPMG, Northgate HR, Oracle and Snowdrop Systems. Products and services on show include:

Accu-Tech Systems Ltd (stand H222) will launch a new Employee Self Service terminal. Available in both Java and CE versions, the terminal is designed for HR applications.

ADP (stand H220). For multinational companies, ADP GlobalView presents a range of services revolving around a centralised approach for Human Capital Management.

Ceridian (stand H215) presents a range of flexible HR services to help smaller businesses manage their administration and stay compliant with the latest employment legislation.

choir.IT (stand H106) will be exhibiting over a dozen new products on its Softworld stand. Choir IT, an IBM Business Partner, have a suite of integrated solutions, but also specialise in bespoke development and ìone offî applications. Amongst the solutions on show will be: PayRota, Choir Recruit, Purchase Order Processing and Inventory.

HMRC Online Services for taxes & tax credits (stand H410) will showcase a full range of online services and products including: PAYE; Self Assessment; Corporation Tax; Stamp Taxes; Tax Credits and e-VAT.

Intellect HR & Payroll Solutions (stand H300) will be showing the latest version of the integrated Ochre payroll, with many new features including unique real time net pay calculations.

IPPM (stand H116) will present its Advanced Diploma in Payroll Management. A new one year qualification aimed at people that have completed the IPPM Diploma in Payroll Management.

KCS Management Systems Ltd (stand H328) launches its ëBlue Boxí solution. ëBlue Boxí solution allows customers to choose which blend of outsourced services and software best suits their needs. The solution, built from modular software, allows companies to buy and use the system in-house or rent the software.

Kronos Systems Ltd Stand H233) will launch Workforce Central v5.1. New modules in this version include: Workforce Leave & Workforce Attendance for a total absence management solution.

Oracle (stand H315) will be demonstrating SIMPLY. This ëout of the boxí offering has been developed based on the experiences of implementing Oracle in various industries and organisations. SIMPLY with Oracle provides: e-enabled human resource and payroll processes; delivery of real time management information to the business; and one version of the truth for HR and payroll data.

Projectix (stand H237) - Recruiternet, a leading provider of recruitment management systems, will be showcasing its innovative applicant tracking and candidate management solution, Projectix, at this yearís show,

Northgate HR (stand H219), a leading supplier of HR and payroll solutions and services to more than 2500 organisations, will be showcasing its latest payroll offerings.

Safe Computing (stand H402), a leading supplier of HR and payroll solutions for the commercial sector will be launching Integrated Flexible Benefits administration.

Select Software UK Ltd (stand H310) will be demonstrating its latest Web Recruitment facilities which eradicate unnecessary administration and streamline the recruitment process.

Softworks Computing (stand H316) will launch the Clockwise Advanced Rostering Module designed to allow rostering and skills allocation for workforce planning.

TeamSpirit Software Ltd (stand H110) will present its intuitive new menu structure, multi-pensions facility, additional payments to leavers and data filtering, and printing of on-screen views.

Topaz (stand 510) is launching the latest version of its market leading, integrated payroll, HR, T&A and benefits product, Topaz EMS. New developments include: new hours/minutes based holiday schemes; new occupational sick pay schemes; new supplementary payroll runs; new payroll transfers facility; new fully integrated document management in HR module; and new workflow facility - automating HR and payroll processes.

A free educational programme also forms a crucial part of the event. Sessions aim to help professionals examine existing systems and processes; consider new strategic frameworks, and develop new business models that will allow them to successfully manage their business.
