Recruitment franchise specialist Recruitment Counsellors claims to be implementing what could prove to be the recruitment method of the future

Recruitment franchise specialist Recruitment Counsellors claims to be implementing what could prove to be the recruitment method of the future.

The company believes it may be the first in the UK recruitment industry to be using live webcasts to speak directly to recruitment professionals who have expressed an interest in finding out more about its company, and what working for it is really like.

The recruitment webcast will be broadcast live over the web at 7pm on September 7 from the companyís head office in Bolton, Lancashire. The programme will have a relaxed ëmagazine styleí format and will explain what working as a Recruitment Counsellors franchisee is really like. Viewers will be able to take part in a live phone in to ask questions direct to the companyís management and its current franchisees.

Viewers can choose to watch either from the comfort of their own home ñ or alternatively Recruitment Counsellors is also enabling its franchisees to host recruitment evenings in their own homes - inviting friends and former colleagues who they think may be interested in its unique franchise concept to come along to the evening.

Commenting on the initiative Gary said: ìThe Recruitment Counsellors model offers a great opportunity for people currently working in the recruitment sector who are thinking about branching out on their own, but who would prefer the support, guidance and technology of a bigger company behind them. We believe a webcast is an ideal way of speaking directly to people who may be interested in finding out more about our company, and also hearing first hand from people who have already joined us about what they think of our unique business model.î

Mr Keay added that webcasts could also prove popular with companies looking to use Recruitment Counsellorsí technological know-how to speak directly to potential new recruits. The company is part of the Counsellors Group which has invested in a purpose-built studio at its Bolton head office, which clients of its franchisees are able to use.

Recruitment Counsellors is also pleased to announce that it has signed two new franchisees. Jason Knight, 34, joins with 10 years experience in the recruitment industry. Based in Bristol, he specialises in commercial appointments including office support, customer services and middle management. Meanwhile Derby-based Scott Davies has also recently joined Recruitment Counsellors, specialising in engineering and IT/ Telecommunications. Mr Davies has 16 years recruitment experience and most recently worked for a technical engineering agency based in Derby.
