CV-Library a UK recruitment portal, today launched its new look website which features next generation intelligent search functionality, enabling clients to find suitable candidates at the click of a mouse.
The feature, known as SmartMatch, is a bespoke tool that was developed in-house. Using a unique ëpoints systemí, SmartMatch reviews the CVís stored on CV-Libraryís database and then presents the findings, in order of relevance, back to the client within fractions of a second. As part of the superior matching service a percentage figure is also highlighted next to each CV which allows clients to see at a glance which candidates would be most suitable for a role.
ìSmartMatch was developed as a result of our ongoing customer research into how we can improve the site for users,î commented Lee Biggins, Director at CV-Library. ìIt became apparent that the need to find specific levels of experience to suit specific roles was becoming important. We believe that this new functionality allows clients to do exactly this; therefore reducing the amount of time that is needed to navigate the site looking for suitable candidates. This search functionality can also be used as soon as a new opening has been posted, enabling clients to start matching candidates to available positions immediately. Early feedback from our client base has been very positive.
Individuals and/or organisations that donít currently subscribe to the service, but are interested in testing SmartMatch, can access the site at www.cv-library.co.uk/sm4.
