The independently audited document has been produced in a web format for the first time, although a printed executive summary is available on request.
Go-Ahead, which operates bus, rail and air passenger services throughout the UK and has more than 19,000 staff, says the electronic format has been chosen to cut down on paper usage - but also to improve accessibility and allow readers to search it according to their areas of interest.
The company, which provides around 700 million passenger journeys each year, says the report shows how its services can help to bind local communities together, promote social inclusion and improve local air quality by reducing the number of car journeys. It also acknowledges that its services can sometimes be viewed as part of the problem as opposed to part of the solution.
