Monster to Help Major League Baseball Find Quality Candidates for the 2005 Season

With the 2004 Major League Baseball playoffs in its final stage, baseball fans around the nation are intent on keeping up to date with the latest scores and all the storylines from this yearís match-ups. To leverage the excitement baseball in October always generates, MLB Advanced Media recently teamed with Monster to begin recruiting quality candidates to staff the 2005 Major League Baseball season. As part of the deal, which began in early October and runs through Spring Training 2005, Monster has homepage placement on MLB.com, the official website of Major League Baseball, and all 30 of the MLB Team Sites. A banner, titled Click to Get The Ultimate Job with MLB.com, on the sitesí homepage allows visitors to search job opportunities with MLB.com.

MLB Advanced Media, LP recorded record single day traffic and page views to the MLB.com site on October 20th. Spurred by the deciding Game 7 of the ALCS and Game 6 of the NLCS, a single day record of more than 8 million fans visited the site, which registered its first-ever 90 million page view day, up about 200% from last yearís 7th game.
