Geodis, Europe’s fourth largest added value logistics operator, has chosen Jobpartners, a European leader in people and talent management solutions, to support its global HR and people management strategy. The full ActiveSuite will be integrated with the existing HR Information Systems and will enable Geodis to support career and performance management processes for its 29,600 global employees spread across 50 countries.
Comprising 5 complementary divisions categorised as Freight Management, Groupage & Express, Road, Logistics and Global Supply Chain Management, Geodis are a continually evolving organisation that have experienced significant international growth. In support of this, the HR department were tasked with a project to secure the implementation and practice of a consistent global talent management strategy.
Following a tender launched in spring 2010 and the analysis of various other solutions providers, Geodis confirmed their decision to implement Jobpartners’ ActiveSuite of solutions. They attribute their decision to a number of factors including functional capability, ease of deployment/use, robustness of technical infrastructure and depth of experience in deploying similar global talent management solutions.

Deployed in 50 countries, ActiveCenter and ActivePlanner will provide the group with a global and holistic view of talent including formulating career plans and supporting succession planning strategies for key positions. With the ActivePerformer and ActiveRewarder modules, the group will improve its management efficiency and ensure compliance with global policy while facilitating effective salary reviews. Additionally, the full ActiveSuite solution will be seamlessly integrated with all other systems and tools currently used within Geodis.
