SkillSurvey Releases Mobile Version of Pre-Hire 360

Adds Survey Templates for Collecting Reference Assessments on 16 IT Positions

SkillSurvey®, the inventor and leading provider of Web 2.0 reference assessment solutions, has released its Pre-Hire 360® enterprise software in a mobile version for smart phones (Blackberry®, iPhone®, Android™, Palm® and Windows Mobile™).

In addition, it has included specific surveys for gathering assessments on 16 additional information technology positions.

Mobile Version of Pre-Hire 360®

Pre-Hire 360® is the first reference assessment solution to provide access via Internet-enabled mobile devices. With this enhancement, recruiters, candidates and references can interact with the software anywhere and anytime.

The new delivery mode:

  • Allows recruiters to initiate, monitor and view reference assessments while attending job fairs, networking events and traveling between appointments

  • Provides candidates with the power to enter reference information on-the-go

  • Offers professional references the ability to respond to reference requests while on the road

The company’s move to deliver access to Pre-Hire 360® via mobile devices recognizes that today’s recruiters, references, and job-seekers are accustomed to accomplishing their work outside of the traditional office environment.

“Work tools are becoming portable, and Pre-Hire 360® is no exception,” said Ray Bixler, chief executive officer of SkillSurvey®. “Job searches can now progress unhindered by travel. In fact, one of the benefits of the automated reference process is speed. References respond in two days, on average, and mobile availability only enhances that turnaround time.”

16 Additional Information Technology (IT) Survey Templates

In using Pre-Hire 360® in their hiring process, subscribers select specific assessment surveys for references to complete on job candidates they are considering. SkillSurvey® maintains a library of survey templates specific to various industries, job levels, and job functions, with behavioral questions chosen to correlate with success on the job.

The company has now added 16 new survey templates to match the most sought-after positions in the IT field, such as chief information officer, helpdesk support and EMR (electronic medical records) implementation specialist.

“The IT world is ever-changing, and so are the nature of jobs and the competencies required for success,” noted Bixler. “Our 16 new surveys reflect the latest hiring needs of our clients, bringing our total IT-related surveys to 24.
