WCN awarded position on G-Cloud 8 and ESPO Frameworks

Leading e-Recruitment pioneer WCN has been awarded a coveted position on the Government’s G-Cloud 8 framework, available immediately for the next two years.

Under the framework, public sector organisations, including agencies and arm’s length bodies, can use the Digital Marketplace to purchase WCN technology for e-Recruitment and talent management system projects over the next two years. The deal continues WCN’s longstanding relationship with G-Cloud, having previously been listed on G-Cloud 6 and earlier iterations.

Using G-Cloud, government departments and organisations across the public sector will be able to utilise WCN technology easily and be assured of improved service delivery quality and value for money. Users will be able to record savings and monitor the ongoing performance of WCN services under the G-Cloud framework for up to 24 months after services are procured.

WCN are the leading supplier of e-Recruitment systems across the public sector, covering both central and local government. Our technology is compliant to the fair, open and on merit recruiting principles used in public services to ensure better quality of candidates, streamlined and accelerated processes and first line support. Existing customers include the Welsh Government, Civil Service Resourcing and HM Revenue and Customs.

Separately, WCN has also been awarded a framework position for e-Recruitment and talent management systems by Eastern Shires Purchasing Organisation (ESPO), a local authority owned purchasing and supply consortium which is jointly owned by the county councils of Cambridgeshire, Leicestershire, Warwickshire, Lincolnshire and Norfolk and city council of Peterborough.

WCN solutions are now available for use nationally by any public sector body in the UK under framework 3A (Advertising Solutions). WCN was previously listed under framework 3E (e-Recruitment and talent management systems) for 2014-2016, prior to it being retendered and amalgamated into the larger 3A framework.

Through the framework, ESPO customers will have access to a quick, simple and competitive route to selecting and implementing WCN e-Recruitment and talent management systems over the next two years, compliant with UK/EU procurement legislation. A possible extension to 2020 is also available to WCN under the terms of the framework.

Charles Hipps, CEO of WCN, said: “We are pleased to have been awarded positions on these frameworks allowing public sector services to continue to benefit from our deep expertise in the public sector, helping numerous authorities and departments to offer fair and open recruitment using more seamless and affordable approaches.”
