British Heart Foundation adopts eploy online recruitment software

A week before attending and speaking at the CIPDís Recruitment, Resourcing and Performance Conference, eploy announces that the British Heart Foundation has adopted its on-line recruitment software solution.

Leading charity, the British Heart Foundation (BHF), has adopted eployís online recruitment software solution. The investment will allow the organisation to streamline its hiring function and extend access to the selection process to its line managers. The web-based service, which is hosted by eploy, integrates transparently with the BHF web portal to provide prospective candidates easy access to opportunities across the country and presents a single management interface for the charityís recruitment function.

The BHF is one of the countryís most innovative and successful charities operating 560 shops that employ over 1700 permanent, part time and volunteer staff and an additional 430 staff at its headquarters and regional locations. The new service provides a ëhiring manager portalí that gives all hiring managers secure access to the process allowing new vacancies to be requisitioned online, opinions to be expressed and candidate approvals or rejections to be made at all stages. Authorisations are automatically emailed to the HR department.

The British Heartís Foundationsí Director of Human Resources, Julie Weston, said: ìWe implemented eploy because we wanted to improve the ease with which supporters and the general public could find paid and volunteer roles within the BHF. The application has also helped streamline our internal processes and improve our management of the recruitment process.î

The eploy software provides template forms, automatic skilling from job descriptions and gives hiring managers full visibility of all candidates and short-lists. ìThis provides BHF with a faster and more effective recruitment procedure,î confirmed Paul Browne, Project Manager.
